Digital Native

Do you think of yourself as a digital native?

I do consider myself a digital native. In other words, I do feel that I have been brought up around technology and therefore, I feel comfortable and competent using technology. I remember playing computer games on my family's desktop in the 1990s. In elementary school, I used the desktop computers to learn how to use Microsoft software, the internet, typing softwares, and to take reading quizzes. By middle school, I owned an iPod Nano and a cell phone. Throughout the years, new technology has emerged but I find that I can learn how to navigate the new technology quickly, unlike my parents who are over 50 and struggle to use their smart phones efficiently.
